Trailblazer: Quddus I.

I love to fold airplanes and study the Earth and space.

Alláh-u-Abhá, dear friends! My name is Quddus. I am 14 years old. I was born in 2010. I was born into a Bahá’í family. Bahá’u’lláh has given me a lot of grace.

My grandparents were the first Bahá’ís from Central Asia to go to China as pioneers, when my parents were the same age as I am now. My mom and aunt studied very hard in Chinese school and university. Then my mother met my dad, who had come to study in China. Then I was born as a gift from Bahá’u’lláh. My mother was studying at the university, and therefore I was raised by my grandmother, who is like a mother too.

I was born in Xinjiang Urumqi [China] and went to kindergarten in Guangzhou [China]; then we moved from China to Vietnam. I go to a Taiwanese school in Vietnam. Now I am studying in the 6th grade. I have very good teachers and classmates.

I speak Chinese, English, and Tajik, and I’m learning Russian and Vietnamese. I play tennis, chess, and the piano. I love to fold airplanes and study the Earth and space. For everything I am grateful to Bahá’u’lláh.
